Aspiring Youth Facilitators & Trainers will learn the skills, knowledge, and dispositions central to experiential education and are provided with “in class” and “out of class” opportunities to design lesson plans, prepare presentations, and engage in activities that have direct, transferable relevance. The course includes direct teaching; collaboration; co-negotiation; facilitating; mentoring; self-, peer-, and instructor development-oriented assessment; leadership opportunities; and coaching.

This 3 Days Workshop integrate experiential learning pedagogy into their adventure or classroom practices and for “seasoned” practitioners to hone and advance their work.

Please note that participants can choose to opt out from the assessment but they will not be eligible for the Certificate of Completion.

 

 

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who attained 75% attendance rate. A Certificate of Completion will be issued to participants who have attained 75% attendance rate, complete individual learning assessment and practical assessment of 16 Hours On the Job Training assigned to you based on your availability. Both assessments must be completed within 3 months from the last date of the course.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Capital Management, Delane Lim has motivated and trained over 157,000 professionals, managers, executives, salespeople, teachers and students in areas like Sports Mental Skills, Sports Coaching, Entrepreneurship, Motivation, Presentation and Communication Skills, Character Development, Team Effectiveness and Team Building & Leadership Techniques.

 

Delane, a very experienced trainer and sports coach, is proficient in both hard and soft skills required in Adventure Learning and Sports. A self-made entrepreneur with a social intent to reach out to youth for youth, Delane was the former CEO of Agape Group Holdings (2005 – 2016) and was recently appointed as the CEO for FutuReady Asia in October 2016. In 2009, he was appointed as Executive Director for International Centre for Experiential Learning & Leadership (South East Asia) – an organization that promotes experiential Leadership & Leaning. During that period, he was also appointed the Director for Staff Development & Service Excellence with Harris Resort & Hotels.

 

He is also the Founder for the Character & Leadership Academy, which was launched by GPC Chairman for Education in February 2013. On top of his day to day appointment, he is also the organizing Chairman for the 5th International Youth Leaders’ Summit 2012 as well as Project ICY (Impact to the Community by Youth) – an initiative to forge cohesion & friendship among the Singapore & international youths in Singapore.
