16 Sep International Youth Leaders: Singapore-Hong Kong Delegation
One main highlight of the trip was the MOU Signing ceremony among the Character and Leadership Academy, Character and Leadership Academy Hong Kong and Institute of Entrepreneurship with Mr Chng Tze Chia, Deputy Consul-General & Consul and Dr Lloyd Alison E., Teaching Fellow and Associate Dean from Hong Kong Polytechnic University as witnesses.
The youths also had the opportunity to interact with the delegation teams from China and Hong Kong during their 6-day program and established close friendship ties with each other – achieving one of the aims of this Hong Kong trip. In addition, they gained more insights about the history and economy of Hong Kong which added value to their educational insights.
In line with “Be Local, Be Global”, the theme of this year’s International Youth Leaders’ Summit, this trip has enabled the youths to experience cross-cultural collaboration. Being an ambassador of Singapore and of their own institutions gave the participants the opportunity to learn to cultivate a global mindset and inclusive attitude towards social integration and cohesion.
